Earth Touch Yoga
the ancient vibrational language
Yoga means Union.
Earth Touch Yoga is a gentle exercise routine that is easily adapted to all levels of physical ability. It is especially welcoming to begining students. Yoga is relaxing, strengthening, energizing and cleansing to the body but also has profound effects on the mind and soul. Yoga provides the time and space for you to go within and find clarity in your needs, wants and purpose.
Yoga is a spiritual (not religious) as well as a physical practice.
Each class includes:
a centering exercise to create calm and focus
warm-up movement and stretches
classic yoga poses
The classes incorporate a variety of yoga styles including Kripalu, TriYoga, Kundalini, Meridian, and Ashtanga as well as the principles of Ayurveda (see AYURVEDA page). The poses are often focused on balancing the energy of the current season: cooling for summer, warming for fall and winter, detoxing for spring. There is a mix of vinyasa (flowing postures together) and holding poses (remaining still for several breaths).
Ultimately, each session provides a safe environment for you to stretch your body and mind while honoring your strengths as well as your limits.
Gentle yoga brings calm, grace and a sense of peace and self love.
